Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for and participating in AuroPro's AI Hackathon 2025 ("Hackathon"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not participate in the Hackathon.

2. Eligibility

The Hackathon is open to students and early-career developers. You must be at least 18 years old to participate. Employees of AuroPro and their immediate family members are not eligible to win prizes but may participate.

3. Registration and Participation

Registration for the Hackathon must be completed through our official website. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during the registration process. Teams may consist of 1-4 members, and each participant may only be part of one team.

4. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all intellectual property rights in your Hackathon submission. However, by participating, you grant AuroPro a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and publicly display your submission for promotional and marketing purposes related to the Hackathon.

5. Code of Conduct

All participants must adhere to the following code of conduct:

• Treat all participants, mentors, judges, and organizers with respect
• Do not engage in harassment, discrimination, or offensive behavior
• Do not submit content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights
• Do not attempt to cheat or gain unfair advantages

6. Judging and Prizes

Submissions will be judged based on the criteria outlined on our website. The decisions of the judges are final. Prizes will be awarded as described on our website and are subject to availability. Winners are responsible for any taxes associated with prize receipt.

7. Limitation of Liability

AuroPro is not responsible for: (a) any incorrect or inaccurate information; (b) technical failures of any kind; (c) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the Hackathon; (d) technical or human error that may occur in the administration of the Hackathon; or (e) any injury or damage to persons or property that may be caused, directly or indirectly, by your participation.

8. Changes to Terms

AuroPro reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes on our website. Your continued participation in the Hackathon after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
